The USNS MERCY Continues its Medical Mission

The USNS MERCY hospital ship continues its medical mission of Pacific Partnership 2010 and already the number of lives affected is remarkable. In Cambodia alone, there were 286 surgeries performed on the MERCY while in-country medical teams saw nearly 30,000 patients, issued 12,900 pairs of glasses, and conducted about 27,000 hours of expert exchanges with national partners.

In addition to its medical work in Cambodia, the Pacific Partnership team provided veterinary care, performed engineering projects, and conducted community service events.

SSC Pacific is proud to be part of Pacific Partnership by providing the USNS Mercy with the needed network and communications installations and engineering support throughout its humanitarian history.
