Every contribution counts to save our environment, and SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific is continuing its efforts to promote a sustainable environment. We've already installed photovoltaic systems on several buildings with more installations slated this year. These photovoltaic systems convert sunlight directly into electricity and are projected to generate 73,284 kilowatt hours of clean power for our facilities. On Earth Day, April 22, 2010, our employees will be banding together to clean up our community in our First Annual Earth Day Celebration.
